During the winter season, the Scarlet Course will be open for FootGolf only from Nov. 23, 2020-Mar. 14, 2021. The Gold Course remains open for regular golf. Because the Scarlet Course will not be used for regular golf, the requirement to have an established handicap of 24 or better as a prerequisite to play the Gold Course will be waived.
What is Footgolf?
It’s a fast-paced, exciting, challenging game that unites soccer and golf! Not a golfer? No problem! No experience needed!
FootGolf is similar to golf, except players use a soccer ball instead of a golf ball, the ball is kicked rather than struck with a club, and the hole is a lot bigger than in golf! The player who finishes the course with the fewest shots wins. Unit PT and special groups available upon request.
Paradise Point Golf Course is open to the general public. All visitors without installation access must be sponsored by an Active Duty/Retired Military or Civilian DoD ID Cardholders. For more information, visit https://www.lejeune.marines.mil/Base-Access/.
The Gold Course has a golf handicap requirement. All players must show proof of a golf handicap 24 or less (except during winter hours, when this is waived) to have golf privileges on the Gold Course. For questions on how to register for a USGA Handicap, please contact the golf course. Golfers who have established a handicap in the Paradise Point Golf Course system will be permitted to participate in any Paradise Point Golf Course tournament that is open to patrons. Children 5 years old and younger are not permitted on the Gold and Scarlet Courses or to ride in golf carts. Glass bottles are prohibited on the Gold and Scarlet Courses
Purchases in the Pro Shop for “convenience merchandise incidental to daily participation,” is permitted.
Tee times may be made manually (i.e., over the telephone or in person) 7 days in advance.
Private lessons are available for all skill levels, from the beginner who wants to learn the basics of golf to the good player who wants to hone his or her skills. Lessons are given by Class A PGA Professional.
