CAMP JOHNSON, NC
The Remembrance Run 10K/5K pays tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The Remembrance Run 10K/5K is a scenic, flat asphalt course that winds through historic Camp Johnson, originally known as Montford Point. Montford Point was the first training base for African-American Marines. The segregated training ground existed from 1942 to 1949. Now, a new memorial stands outside the gates of Camp Johnson to commemorate their historic achievements in the face of racial segregation. Show your support for America's heroes in this run to remember.
