Country superstar, Cole Swindell headlines this year’s celebration which includes a FREE concert from a lineup of great entertainment, plus the area’s best fireworks display.

This year’s concert features performances by:

  • Cole Swindell – An American country music singer and songwriter. He has released nine singles, of which seven have charted within the Top 5 of Hot Country Songs.
  • Tyler Farr – An American country music singer and songwriter with an affinity for hard country and honky-tonk.
  • Lindsay Ell – A mixture of rock, blues, and pop, all within the country genre.
  • Carlton Zeus – A Hip Hop artist and US Air Force Veteran.
  • Ha Ha Tonka – Their sound is described as folky indie rock; Southern rock; and Ozark-steeped-blues-rock which showcases raw power and four-part harmonies.
The evening will culminate with the most spectacular fireworks display in the area.

The July 4th Celebration is a FREE (general admission lawn seating) and open to the public event. Want to upgrade your experience? Premium seating is available and may be purchased at http://www.basefest.com. Click on the Camp Lejeune event and purchase your premium seating tickets.

In case of inclement weather, only the fireworks will be rescheduled for July 5 at 8:30 PM. This event will NOT be open to the general public. Please note that on this date, Holcomb Blvd. will close to traffic at 8 PM. Shuttle transportation will not be provided.

1. Festival Dates & Hours

2. Is the event free?

Yes. General admission (lawn seating) is free.

3. Are there premium tickets available?

Yes, a limited number of premium tickets are available for purchase. Premium includes premium stage viewing, drink tickets, private bar, shaded area, private restrooms, limited seating and more.

For those with a DoD ID Card and veterans, the cost is $45 (includes all taxes & fees). For civilians, the cost is $75. All ages will need to purchase a ticket for entry into the Premium area.

4. Do I need a ticket?

No. Only for Premium.

5. Do I need to print my premium ticket?

No. You can have the barcode scanned from your phone to show at the entry point.

6. Is there a limit to the number of premium tickets I can purchase?

No.

7. Exit & Re-entry

You will be able to exit and re-enter the venue. However, you will have to wait in line with other patrons waiting to enter the site which may delay your return. There is no special re-entry access.

8. How do I get Base access?

The Main and Wilson Gates will open to the general public at 2:30 PM. All guests without DoD credentials should be prepared to show proper government issued ID. Anyone arriving prior to 2:30 PM without a valid pass or DoD credentials will not be granted installation access without a sponsor present.

9. What is the inclement weather plan?

10. Prohibited items

  • The following items will not be permitted on the event site. All items will be confiscated.
  • Personal fireworks (including sparklers)
  • Outside alcoholic beverages
  • Glass containers
  • Controlled illegal substances and their associated paraphernalia
  • Weapons (including knives)
  • Tasers
  • Stun guns
  • Tents including shade tents over 4’
  • Mace or pepper spray
  • Grills
  • Drones or UAV's (unmanned aerial vehicle)
  • Professional cameras with removable lenses
  • Laser pointers, strobe lights, and noisemakers
  • Professional video or audio recording devices
  • Bags LARGER than a standard backpack- 12x12in.
  • Animals or pets. Verified, registered service animals as defined in MCIEAST-MCB CAMLEJ Order 10570.1 are permitted

11. What do you recommend we bring?

  • Chairs, blankets
  • Sunscreen and bug repellant
  • Sunglasses and hat
  • Coolers are permitted (no outside alcohol or glass containers)
  • Sun shade under 4’ tall
  • Cash, Debit, or Credit Cards if you wish to purchase food & beverage
  • GoPro
  • Bags that are a standard size backpack or smaller - 12x12in.
  • Digital and point & shoot cameras
  • Cell phones & phone charger
  • Empty refillable, plastic or aluminum bottles & water packs (e.g. Camelbak)
  • Strollers
  • Selfie Stick

12. Will there be ATMs at the venue?

Yes.

13. Will there be restroom facilities?

There will be port-o-letts available.

14. Can I bring my pet?

No pets allowed. Only verified, registered service animals as defined in MCIEAST-MCB CAMLEJ Order 10570.1 are permitted.

15. Will there be food & beverage available for purchase?

Yes. A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase.

16. Security

For your protection, security checkpoints will be at the entrance to the field and bags (to include backpacks and purses) will be searched.

17. How do I get there?

You may access the event using both the Main Gate and Wilson Gate located off HWY 24.

18. Will there be parking?

Parking will be available at the Camp Lejeune Main Exchange Parking Lot and overflow parking at the Wallace Creek Fitness Center. Accessible parking will be located in the Hadnot Point Plaza Parking lot on Holcomb Blvd. No street side parking will be permitted.

19. Will there be transportation from the parking lots?

Yes. A FREE shuttle service will transport guests from parking lot locations to and from the venue site. We anticipate a large crowd at this celebration and strongly encourage everyone to carpool and arrive early.
