Onslow Beach Bridge Closure

Construction on Onslow Beach Bridge, April 1 - May 28
Due to construction, the Onslow Beach Bridge will be closed for vehicle traffic 0800-1200 and 1300-1700 on weekdays. The bridge will operate normally on weekends, Federal Holidays, April 6 and April 13.

Onslow Beach guest services office will operate under extended hours, Monday-Friday 7AM-7PM and on weekends 9AM-5PM. (Onslow Beach guest check-in and check-out times will remain the same.) We appreciate your patience while these repairs are being made.

Boat Ramp Closure - Mile Hammock Bay, April 5 - 16, 2021

The boat ramp and fishing docks at Mile Hammock Bay will be closed to recreational use/traffic from April 5 - 16, 2021 in order to support II MEF exercise use.

Camp Lejeune Wide Area Power Outage Apr 17 and Jun 5

Due to Camp Lejeune wide area power electrical outages the following MCCS and contracted services will experience interruptions in service on:
- Sat., Apr. 17 starting at 8AM. Power is anticipated to return at Noon.
- Sat., Jun. 5 starting at 7AM. Power is anticipated to return at 6PM.

  • Main Exchange Complex, Mall, and Food Court
  • Barber Shops: Hadnot Point and Exchange Mall
  • Fitness Centers/Gyms: Wallace Creek, Area 5, Camp Lejeune HITT Center, Morgan Bay, Goettge Memorial Field House and Racquetball Courts
  • Hadnot Point Plaza (all services)
  • Marine Marts: Wallace Creek (including Subway) and Central
  • Mainside Fuel
  • Free Standing Eateries: Taco Bell, Dunkin’ Donuts-Baskin Robbins, Wendy’s, Domino’s, Papa John’s, La Casita Loca, Jimmy John’s

In addition, the following will also be impacted:

Courthouse Bay Marina

The boat ramp, fishing pier, and recreation area are closed until further notice. Please do not enter the housing area. Please be aware that the construction limits traffic, making it difficult to turn vehicles who have entered the parking area. Thank you for your patience as we make improvements to this area. Camp Lejeune Base Theater

The Camp Lejeune Theater will be closing for renovations Mar. 26 through the beginning of May. Renovation will include new seating and fresh coat of paint on the floor.

During this time please visit our MCAS New River Theater and enjoy watching movies in the NEW seating recently installed.

New River Marina Boat Ramp Closure and Construction Impacts

Due to construction, the boat ramp at New River Marina is currently closed and boats may not be launched at the marina. Additionally, motorized boats are not available for rent and fuel is not available for sale at the marina.

The picnic area at New River Marina remains open and kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards are available for rent.

Harriotte B. Smith Library Closed for Major Renovations

The Harriotte B. Smith Library is closed for major renovations. The Library will be expanding, switching over from the Dewey Decimal to a bookstore format and adding new shelving and carpet. During this time, customers may use the New River Air Station Library, Camp Johnson Library, and Research Library* at the John A. Lejeune Education Center. All of these libraries offer computers, fax, and copying services. (*Please note: the Research Library can only accommodate children 13 years and older.)
