Building the Warrior Within

Protect, Champion and Build the Warrior Within

These events will provide a forum for installation service providers to promote the development of comprehensive wellness skills and enhance protective factors related to self-harm. The indoor and outdoor activities will help attendees withstand, recover from, and grow in the face of stress and life challenges, while promoting a culture of dignity, respect, inclusion and connectedness through skill building. Events are provided in various locations for the convenience of Commands and attendees and will include interactive demonstrations to enhance integrated prevention through building and practicing skills. The skills help to reduce negative and self-defeating behaviors, improve self-regulation, build relationships, enhance physical and emotional resilience and foster healthy behaviors that promote and strengthen total readiness.
