2015 Fall Youth Sports Programs

Fall Sports
Sport Age Group Practice Location
Cheerleading 6-12 Stone St. Athletic Fields or Paradise Point Fields
Flag Football 6-12 Paradise Point Fields
Soccer 5-12 Stone St. Athletic Fields
Ages 5-15 Specifically
Must be age 5 on or before September 1, and cannot be age 13 on or before September 1 for soccer.
Must be age 6 on or before September 1, and cannot be age 13 on or before September 1 for cheerleading and flag football.

Register at the Youth Sports Office
Camp Lejeune from June 22 to July 24, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
MCAS New River from July 13 to July 24, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
(MCAS New River participants/teams will practice at MCAS fields).

Regular Registration: $30 June 22 to July 24
Late Registration: $35 on a space-available basis.

MCCS Fall Youth Sports Coaching Clinic
Sat, July 11 | 9am-Noon | Camp Lejeune Youth Sports Bldg 1985, Stone St.

MCCS Lejeune-New River Youth Sports will conduct a National Youth Sports Coaching Association (NYSCA) initial level coaches certification clinic for the upcoming fall programs on Saturday, July 11th. The clinic will take place from 9 AM-Noon at Camp Lejeune Youth Sports, Bldg. 1985, Stone St. Coaching/sport certification will include soccer, flag football, and cheerleading.

This is a free clinic and all volunteer youth coaches must be NYSCA certified while serving in a volunteer youth coaching capacity for MCCS Lejeune-New River Youth Sports. Please call 451-2177 or 449-6714 for additional information.


Tarawa Terrace Youth Ball Fields
The Tarawa Terrace 1 (TT1) entrance was permanently closed on Wednesday, 5/27/15. As a result, the TT youth ball fields can only be access via (TT2) gate or the Wilson Gate. From one of those entry points, patrons can make their way to the gate formerly known as the TT1 gate and enter the youth ball fields.

**Access is prohibited from walking through the cement barriers via HWY 24.

From Tarawa Blvd (TT2 gate):
Takes you directly to the former TT1 gate; no need to make any turns until you reach the complex.

From Wilson gate:
Take Bougainville Dr. – turn RIGHT onto Tarawa Blvd --- follow until you reach the former TT1 entrance Destination will be on right.
